Sundance Resort, Utah

I just returned from an amazing weekend at the Sundance resort in Utah. I hadn’t spent much time In the Rocky Mountains before this, and was excited to see what it’s all about. The natural beauty of this area made me want to plan my next visit to explore more.

Tucked away in Utah’s stunning Wasatch Mountains, Sundance Resort is more than just a ski destination—it's a soulful retreat where nature, adventure, and art blend seamlessly. Interestingly, it was founded by legendary actor Robert Redford who wanted to create an intimate mountain escape that feels exclusive and untouched. Today, it continues to feel very removed far from the bustling crowds of larger resorts in Deer Valley and Park City nearby.

No matter the season, Sundance is a place to slow down, connect with nature, and immerse yourself in nature. I felt so much peace and calm of the slow pace, that forced me to be present and enjoy, rather than ask “what’s next?”

If you’re looking to plan a couple of days out in Sundance, or are adding time in the area around the Sundance Festival, this guide will help you plan a perfect weekend! As always, I’m here if you’d like me to help you create a custom plan or manage bookings!
